Alot has happened since my last post. First of all Hailey had her first dentist appointment. At first we had a scream fest, but then she settled down and let them count/clean her teeth. She has always been awful when it comes to brushing her teeth so I was worried maybe we missed something, but at least at this point her teeth look great! YEAH! Now if only I can get through her flu shot today :-)

I also spent my first night away from Hailey last Friday. Tim, is the youth leader for our church and we had a overnighter with a hockey game, pizza, inflatable games and bowling. This went from 4:30p - 6am. We had a blast and Hailey spent the night at Nana's. I was thinking it was going to be hard, but Hailey could care less. Nana told her they were going to make cookies so all day Friday Hailey kept asking if it was time to go to Nana's yet. It did make it easier since she went with no looking back and Mommy survived.
On a funny note, Hailey is "scared" of what she calls "the crab" in her room. She cries hard and I now have to put a nightlight on and keep the door open. She does have a stuffed crab so I took it out, but I am not sure that is what she is scared of ... the funny thing is when she woke up at my parents she said - crab - Nana replied, Hailey is there a crab at Nana's house too? Hailey's response, no, nana - you don't have a crab at your house!!! and then went on her way. Its funny how they come up with these things. Now why is at my house and not Nana's? I guess I have to find out what this "crab" really is and get rid of it.
Here are pix from our "superbowl" teen night!

The next day the school where Hailey will be starting Preschool next year held a festival day to raise money. We took Hailey and she had a blast. She rode a pony, played some games, won a prize and got her own big bag of popcorn! What could be better!

Sunday, we went over Auntie Robin's house and carved pumpkins. Sadly, $100 later I got my camera fixed and now my computer won't except any more pix so I am stealing pix from Robin's blog :-) Go over to her blog to see more pix. We had a blast, I can't even come close to their pumpkin carving skills, but I did get some good lessons for next year!

Sonny & Tracey's Wedding

Yesterday was a momentus day, Tim's sister was married to the love of her life and we are overjoyed to welcome Sonny into the family!

Taylor and Jordyn were the bridesmaids and Tyler was the best man.

Doesn't she look lovely? She was unbelievably excited about this wedding!

I have so many pictures that it filled my memory card! It was hard to pick just a few to post, but here they are ...

All the kids had a blast and danced the night away! My memory card filled up before the party really got under way. You should have seen these kids dance :-)

Cousins ... Taylor, Jordyn, Luke, Alyssa and Hailey

why?!

Wednesday was my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday to the best mom in the whole wide world! We go through many stages with our mom's growing up and many of these stages I am not looking forward to go through with Hailey. At this point in my life though, being a mom myself, I really respect and appreciate my mom more than ever before. I Love you mom!

Lately Hailey has been pretend role playing alot. Friday she decided she was a cat and I decided to help her out. Here she is with her water bowl and food (lucky charms). It was so funny to watch her eat and drink!

This morning we decided to go for pumpkins before daddy left for work. On our way we past a small yard sale and noticed a huge Barbie castle. We pulled over and looked at it, but decided to pass because of the price. We went to get our pumpkins and noticed it was still there so we stopped and they lowered they price. So Hailey is the HAPPY new owner of this new Barbie castle. Thank God it folds up or we defintely have no room for it :-)

And once the excitement of the castle wore off she decided to paint her pumpkins. Are you impressed with my art skills on the pumpkin to the left? Yes, I did that all by myself. Ha, ha. I never did say I had an art skills whatsoever!

Lately, Hailey has been asking the "why" question. I hear parents say they reach this stage, but I thought maybe we were safe. Not so fast ... Why mommy are we going to Wyatt's house? why is daddy at work? why is the light red? why is the music loud? why oh why oh why? Can anyone answer me?!

%

As of today I would dare to say Hailey is now 95% fully potty trained (during the day). Yes, it went up that much since my last post. She has only had one BM accident since Friday. How is that %?

friends and princesses

Not much new to report, just enjoying the fall. Last week Wyatt moved and Hailey and I went over to help set-up. You can imagine how that went :-) Below is Hailey and Wyatt eating apples and watching tv.
You may see a pattern in many of these pictures. Hailey received a princess "Belle" dress from a co-worker of mine and many days when we are home she is in it. She wanted Wyatt to be Prince Charming, but as you can see he didn't want to comply! ha, ha

Yesterday, Erin and her family came over, as well as, some other friends. We crammed 7 kids and 3 adults in my apartment and we were all pretty comfortable. For those of you who know how small my apartment is that is pretty good! Hailey of course had a blast playing dress up with Erin once again.

And tonight ... dress-up again!
She was watching the movie and in the castle Belle comes down a big staircase to get to the ballroom. Well, Hailey wanted to climb down the stairs. Her first thought was to build them and so she brought over her blocks, but I had a better idea ...

Notice the shoes, can you believe she walks around the house for hours in those?!

So yes, she is more obsessed with princesses then ever.

On the potty training front - on Saturday we went to the Fryeburg Fair. To me it is highly overrated and way to crowded, but that is my opinion. Anyway, we left the house at 9:30a and didn't get home until 6:30p, do you believe she stayed dry the whole time? She told us when she had to go and held it as we waited in the half hour bathroom line! UGH!

For BM's we are still having on and off accidents, but she is about 85% trained. The issues stem from her medical issues and we have a hard time "regulating" her. Right now we are trying acidophilus supplements. If that doesn't work the doctor wants to re-evaluate her so lets pray it works!

And on a funny side note, tonight my brother was hanging out with us and Hailey looks at him and states out of the blue, "Uncle Matt, you are so cute". It was quite funny!
