I don't know how many steps a child has or how long they have to stay upright to be an official walker, but we are quite close. Each day Hailey gets closer and closer. Today she would take about 5 steps holding nothing, then cruise the furniture and take a few more steps. She defintely spent most of the evening on her feet and hardly crawled at all. We were so excited and I was able to catch it on video! I will post it below. Notice the flashlight (her new favorite toy at the moment) and please forgive the screams at the end, but I was just so proud of her!!!

And for more smiles and laughs, here is a picture of Hailey raiding one of the cabinets. The only one that is not child proof. Also, please note the gerber biscuit cookie in her hand. I think she is trying to tell me something :-)

Looks like she's really there and officially walking! Yippeee! You'll be amazed at how every day their balance improves and they just get more and more comfortable.
